Last week, the international shipping community faced a frustrating setback in London. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) adjourned the extraordinary session of its Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC/ES.2, 14-17 October 2025) without adopting the long-awaited Net-Zero Framework (NZF) for shipping.
