The Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) invited Europe Jacques Delors to a roundtable on EU Carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM)

Our Director of Studies Isabelle Garzon participated in a roundtable organized by the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) on the state of play of ongoing discussions on the EU Carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM).

As stated in EJD’s paper, “the CBAM is an important option on the road to carbon neutrality. Free allowances must be phased out as quickly as possible and export rebates must not be introduced. International cooperation is key but there is still much to do to build a climate diplomacy.”
