
Fiona Dainesi joined Europe Jacques Delors in June 2026 as a Policy Trainee within the Ocean team.
Before joining us, she worked at the Centre Scientifique de Monaco, where she contributed to international legal research and expertise on cross-cutting issues related to ocean conservation and protection, including antimicrobial resistance in aquaculture and seawater desalination in the Maghreb region. She also supported several projects during UNOC3, contributing to scientific and economic conferences.
Fiona has also worked for a year on projects related to the BBNJ Agreement, with a particular focus on marine genetic resources.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Law of the Sea and Maritime Activities from Université Côte d’Azur in Nice.
