Isabelle Durant is a Belgian politician and sustainability expert with extensive experience in European and international affairs. Formerly Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mobility and Transport in Belgium, she also served as Vice-President of the European Parliament and later as Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Throughout her career, she has been actively engaged in promoting sustainable development, social justice, and multilateral cooperation. She is currently Chair of the Board of Friends of Europe.
