
Damien Jahan joined Europe Jacques Delors in September 2025 as a Junior Ocean Policy Analyst.
Before joining us, he worked for the United Nations Convention on Migratory Species (CMS), where he contributed to multilateral efforts to preserve endangered marine species. He also worked at the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB), where he took part in international negotiations on biodiversity protection and contributed to bilateral cooperation projects. As a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission’s DG Environment, he further developed his expertise in marine policies and gained a strong understanding of EU legislative and institutional processes.
Damien holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris.
