Pierre Leturcq is a Policy Analyst at Europe Jacques Delors and a PhD candidate at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
Since January 2019, he has been focusing his research on trade and the environment and has co-authored a series of policy papers on how to green EU trade policy with Pascal Lamy and Geneviève Pons.
Pierre Leturcq holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and a Master’s degree in History of Law and Political Ideas from Jean Moulin Lyon III University. From January to June 2018, he taught Legal History at the Law School of Jean Moulin Lyon III University and worked at the same time as a legal and administrative assistant to migrants and people in precarious situations in a social center near Geneva. He then specialized in the environmental policies of the European Union. In 2020, he started a PhD on the concept of a “just transition” in the framing of the EU’s environmental policy.
